Hi, I'm Brian or B. Liu - pronounced -lau (rhymes with cow)...long story but my last name should be Wong, but then I'd B. Wong... and that's just not right...

But seriously, this is about you... right now you have a vision, a project, a wedding or a once-in-a-lifeteime adventure you want to capture and right now you're researching to see who's imagery you like and want to work with. It's cool, I know I'm not the only one. If you like my work, excellent! If you don't, still excellent - we just weren't meant to be.

I love what I do and I'm full of creative energy. I enjoy working with people, creatives & companies who are deeply connected to what they're putting into the world

Here's a bit of my background...

This is truly the culmination of all my life's journeys and everything I've learned along the way... hence, the labyrinth that brought me to this center through all the twists and turns!

My life has been defined by creative endeavors from painting, graphic design, chef and winemaker - and all the twists and turns have led me here. I've almost always had a camera in my hands (yes, with film before phones) and simply been in awe - endlessly curious, observing about the world around me. I love capturing the beautiful little nuances that almost go unnoticed, to beautiful moments that last for a fleeting second or perfect symmetry of a scene or light playing with shadow... there are so many beautiful things in the world and I love to capture them.

 

I had an epiphany the first time I shot on a cinema lens and realized how much more I could capture with film and I've been hooked since! I've also taken to the sky with a drone and it felt like second nature to me... I love the juxtaposition of scale from macro to human and high above...

I've also always seen myself as an artist - I sold my first work in high school and it feels so good to bring this into existence. So yeah, there's some fine art prints here too.
